My old SiriusXM radio for the car finally kicked the bucket after five years plus, so it was time for an upgrade. After calling SiriusXM support, they did not have any good discounts on the radios. Amazon was about $20 cheaper for this radio. It even has a color screen, so let’s give it a try.

Radio, Manual, Power Cord for car, Antenna
Setup was easy. I had to contact customer support to activate the radio. There is also a transfer fee, which I was not expecting. The radio seems nice and sturdy. The buttons have a good feel to them.
After 3 week of use
I must say I am very pleased with this radio. It’s nice to have a color screen that tells you the artist and the album versus the old black-and-white screen I used to have. The favorite buttons work very well. Navigating through the list of hundreds of channels can be tedious with the scroll wheel, until I finally figured out the shortcut buttons to press. The wires for the antenna and the power cable also seem much sturdier than they used to be in the past. The old radio’s cords used to tangle all the time, so this one is much better.
No real negatives at this time. I had a few glitches with the power button not turning the unit on or off, but that seems sparse. The radio does seem to get a little warmer than I used to remember.
I am very pleased with this radio. It is a nice upgrade for anyone who had the old car unit over five years old. The color screen really adds a pop to the display. I like it.
